Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in the development of sophisticated computer vision systems and algorithms for object detection, segmentation, and distance measurement. Experience with panoramic images is a significant advantage. You will work closely with our client and project team to implement, optimize, and validate new and existing AI vision models.

Develop and implement robust computer vision algorithms for object detection, segmentation, and distance measurement.

Research and implement cutting-edge computer vision techniques.

Work with panoramic images to optimize and improve model performance.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry's latest trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Proven experience in object detection, segmentation, and distance measurement techniques.
Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience with YOLO, OpenCV, Detectron2, MM Detect, Open Images Dataset, COCO
Fine-tuning of open source vision models
Previous work with panoramic images is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $106,300 - 204,600.
