Machine Learning Engineer (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract Machine Learning Engineer to join a premier management consulting firm. The Machine Learning Engineer will collaborate with product design and engineering teams to develop and build AI-based products.

Location: Remote (Must work EST)

This job expects to pay about $80 - 90 per hour plus benefits.

What You Will Do:

Design machine learning systems
Communicate findings to all stakeholders
Study and transform data science prototypes
Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
Run machine learning tests and experiments
Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
Train and retrain systems when necessary
Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks

What Gets You The Job:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline
Must have experience with AWS based Cloud AI/ML/Gen AI cloud stack technologies like AWS Sagemaker, AWS EKS, AWS Bedrock, EMR, etc.
Must have experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (scikit-learn)
Must have experience with Docker containers
Two or more years of project management experience
Professional certification
Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architecture
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
Ability to write robust code in Python or Java
Excellent communication skills
Experience in MLOPS capabilities.
Experience in engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application security
