PeopleTec is currently seeking a Junior AI/ML Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

We specialize in full stack development, Cloud, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Intelligence (BI), Data Science, Machine Learning (ML) related initiatives, both in the federal and commercial space. We are currently seeking a Junior AI/ML Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location and join our forward-thinking technology team. This developmental role is designed for individuals eager to build their skills in AI/ML and advance into more senior technical positions. The successful candidate will be involved in various projects including ETL pipeline development, web interface development, data analytics, cloud infrastructure enhancement, and AI/ML tool creation. A strong academic background in a STEM field, excellent communication capabilities, and a valid TS/SCI clearance with active CI polygraph.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a junior AI/ML developer supporting multiple projects in the group
ETL Pipeline Development: Design and implement efficient ETL pipelines for data integration and real-time processing needs.
Data Analytics: Perform statistical analysis and create visualizations to drive insights and support decision-making.
Cloud Infrastructure Development: Support the design and maintenance of scalable cloud environments for robust data processing.
Web Interface Development: Support the design and development of web interfaces to include back-end and front-end web frameworks
AI/ML Tool Development: Participate in the development and tuning of machine learning models and AI-driven solutions, aimed at meeting project targets and improving performance.
Collaborative Learning: Engage with team members and clients to define project requirements, resolve issues, and share knowledge, fostering a learning environment that encourages growth.
Skill Development: Actively pursue learning opportunities in AI/ML technologies and methodologies to advance personal and team capabilities.
Participate in stakeholder engagement opportunities and briefings

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with programming in Python and other coding languages
- Basic understanding of ETL Pipeline process, data storage and retrieval strategies
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Interest in learning about machine learning tools such as AWS SageMaker and related libraries.
- Proficiency in software development to include languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and C++.
- Basic understanding and skills in database management to include PostgreSQL and SQLServer
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas effectively.
- Desire to work collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Experience: Prior internships or experience in data science or software development.
Willingness and desire to learn emerging technology and other new technology areas
Travel: 5 %
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

Master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering
Experience with developing data strategy and data governance policies
Strong ML operations experience
