We are looking for a Deep Learning Engineer to develop the machine learning and computer vision technologies for our mixed reality engine. You will be an important part of bringing our AR experiences to millions. Our computer vision (CV) team develops cutting-edge technologies in applied machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning for mobile and web AR. Motivated by tough technical challenges in this emerging field, you will play a critical role in developing new features and applications that leverage deep learning to enable and enhance AR experiences.
This position is 100% remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop machine learning and deep learning solutions across the entire machine learning workflow from data collection to model training
- Optimize models to run efficiently on web and mobile platforms
- Explore cutting edge research and apply findings to help solve challenging product problems
- Work closely with product teams and engineers to develop new customer facing features and applications
- Perform code reviews and ensure exceptional code quality
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of industry experience in applied machine learning, with a master’s or PhD in computer science or related technical field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Ability to read and implement related academic literature in deep learning and computer vision
- Solid understanding of a production machine learning workflow and deep learning model optimization
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with other engineers and other disciplines
PLUSES
- Previous experience working with machine learning on mobile and web platforms
- Experience with AR technologies, such as ARKit, ARCore, or Vuforia
- Experience with generative machine learning techniques, such as NeRF
- Proficiency in a compiled programming language, preferably C++
