Who We Are
This exciting position is with the Mission Control Systems Team supporting the Advanced Software team located in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is for an experienced Engineer to use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in the Artificial Intelligence and software field to develop solutions to complex problems within Advanced Development Programs (ADP).
What You Will Be Doing
You will focus on the of products that implement to provide discriminating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies/capability to our customers. This will require engagement in every phase of the system lifecycle including requirements generation, system and design, implementation, integration, and flight test. Activities will range from proof of concepts, of prototypes, building demonstrators, and transition to production. The candidate will help to shape R&D opportunities (CRAD, CRADA, internal/external collaborations) with a focus on customer science and technology organizations, such as DARPA, AFRL or ONR.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including program management, advanced concepts, advanced systems, special projects, and external customers.
- Drive the design and development of key technologies within the scope and realm of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Apply new and existing technologies in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Up to 10% travel, primarily domestic may be required.
Must exhibit self-motivation, a strong work ethic, time and interpersonal skills.
