About the role:
As a Managing Editor at PhotoAiD, you will:

Play a key role in shaping our content strategy

Edit blog posts and landing pages in line with SEO best practices and in-house quality standards

Plan, assign, and manage the work of in-house content creators including writers, graphic designers, and publishers
-
Run regular workshops for content writers and offer constructive feedback
-
Monitor and optimize performance to meet traffic and conversion targets
-
Assist in devising and maintaining standards for a portfolio of brands
-
Identify and implement best practices, workflows, tools, and templates to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

At least 3 years of experience as a Managing Editor

A portfolio of successful online publications (either as author or editor)

An MA in English, journalism, marketing, or a similar relevant field, or equivalent work experience

Exceptional skills in copywriting and editing
-
Full working proficiency in spoken and written English
-
In-depth knowledge of SEO and content creation practices
-
Business acumen
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills
-
Outstanding communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-
Very good knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, GSC, GA, WordPress, and similar tools
-
A keen interest in AI tools and process automation is a big plus
