What does success look like?
The Sales Copywriter is a vital member of our marketing team, responsible for crafting persuasive and compelling copy that drives sales and engages our target audience. This role focuses on creating Amazon SEO optimized product listings, including bullet points, descriptions, and search term copy, as well as crafting attention-grabbing titles for podcast and short video clips. The Sales Copywriter plays a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and increasing conversion rates.
Create persuasive and conversion-focused copy that compels customers to purchase our products/services.
Primary Objectives 20% BIG ROCKS – These must be done first and at all costs.
- Create SEO optimized Bullet Points & Descriptions
- Create SEO optimized social media posts, podcast and short video clip titles
Regular Work Activities 80% – These must be done ongoing daily/weekly after the BIG ROCKS are complete.
- Amazon Product Listings - Create compelling and informative product descriptions that highlight key features and benefits, optimize search term copy to improve discoverability and rank higher in Amazon search results, collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure product images and graphics complement the copy.
- Create Copy for Amazon A+ Content
- Create Product Video Script & Overall direction
- Content Creation for Podcasts and Short Videos - Craft attention-grabbing titles for podcast episodes and short video clips to increase click-through rates, write concise and engaging scripts or descriptions that effectively convey the content's value and encourage viewers/listeners to take action, collaborate with content producers and designers to maintain a consistent brand voice and style.
- A/B Testing and Optimization - Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of product listings, titles, and content, Implement A/B testing to refine copywriting strategies for maximum impact and conversions, Make data-driven recommendations and adjustments based on KPIs and performance metrics.
- Keyword Research - Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to identify relevant keywords and topics, conduct keyword research to inform content creation and product listing optimization
- Continuing Education - stay up to date with Amazon SEO best practices for bullet point, descriptions and search term copy, keep abreast of changes in AI technologies and their applications in marketing and copywriting.
- Strong written and verbal english communication skills
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts
- An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize and scale our content marketing strategies and tactics

Experience, Training, and Education
- Proven experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.
- Experience in e-commerce and Amazon SEO optimization is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI-driven content generation tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI tools and their application in content generation and optimization.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online marketing strategies.
