About ADM Diagnostics (ADMdx)
The ADMdx team has over two decades of experience in providing AI services to the pharmaceutical industry to assist in the quest for new drugs. Now we are developing innovative products to address the urgent need for diagnostic tools toward early, accurate diagnosis of patients suffering from Alzheimer’s, head impact, and other brain disorders. ADMdx has received FDA clearance for its first diagnostic product, CorInsights MRI, which provides reports to the physician to help in assessing their patient’s disease. We will be continuously expanding the capabilities of this and other products using AI, so in this role there will be ample opportunities to engage in challenging R&D.
About the role
- will be responsible for developing deep learning and machine learning models for image classification and/or segmentation using brain scans, metadata, and domain-specific features
- will keep up to date with cutting-edge methods, and apply this knowledge to create state-of-the-art solutions that directly help patients
- will work collaboratively as part of a cross-disciplinary team, thereby incorporating expertise not only in AI, but also in the specifics of the problem domain pertaining to brain imaging and disease
- will participate in the process of preparing submissions to obtain FDA clearance for the product components you create
- will assist the production team with integration and deployment of your solutions
Required qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science / Analytics, Biomedical Engineering or a related field where AI models are applied to images
- Experience in developing deep learning models for image classification, segmentation, etc., and machine learning models applied to feature data
- Strong Python coding skills
- Experience in deep learning frameworks, preferably PyTorch
- Team player able to collaborate effectively to solve a complex problem
- Good communication skills
- Passionate about taking R&D concepts from the research phase to a commercial product
Preferred qualifications / Nice-to-haves
- Product development experience in industry is preferred (2+ years for candidates with an MS degree; 1+ years for applicants with PhD)
- Experience with using AWS as the platform for model development
