CellChorus® is the leader in performing high‑throughput, dynamic analysis of individual cell behavior and function over time to improve the efficacy and manufacturing of cell‑based products. We apply Time‑lapse Imaging Microscopy in Nanowell Grids (TIMING™) with neural network-based analysis to identify, track, and characterize the behaviors of target and effector cells, as well as biomolecule secretion. We are seeking an exceptional AI Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate seeking a cross-disciplinary position in a rapidly growing organization that works with some of the top immunotherapy companies in the world, and eager to improve the lives of patients diagnosed with cancer and other conditions.

The Ideal Candidate

has an educational background in computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a similar field;
has extensive experience working with statisticcs, machine learning and neural network algorithms, and related tools;
has extensive programming experience with Python, R, Java;
comfortable with various visualization tools and GUI development;
has had some educational or professional exposure to cell biology, cancer biology, immunology or a similar field;
is self-motivated and is comfortable operating in an evolving and high-growth environment; and
is comfortable communicating with throughout the organization and with external partners.

What You Will Do And/or Be Responsible For

maintain and improve computational pipelines;
conduct analyses of results generated in the CellChorus imaging lab;
generate statistical summaries, graphs, plots and charts of results;
collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including from scientific, sales and marketing teams, as well as senior leadership and external partners; and
maintain local and cloud-based compute infrastructure;
document results and support grant activities.

Other Considerations

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English are required.
