We are currently seeking a machine learning engineer to play a key role in training and implementing the latest generation of autonomous machine learning-based planning algorithms.

Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

Location: San-Jose

Salary Range: $150,000 - $185,000

Work Arrangements: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

Utilize output from complex maps and perception sensors to create innovative deep learning models for our planning stack.
Design essential safety checks to verify the feasibility of driving trajectories, ensuring adherence to road rules.
Maintain a real-time focus in all model development and ensure efficient operation in compute-constrained environments.
Keep abreast of and incorporate the latest advancements in multidisciplinary research within this dynamic field.

Required Skills:

Have 2-3 years of experience in machine learning engineering for robotics applications.
Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality software, encompassing design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Proficiency in Python, C++ & PyTorch
Adopt a rigorous approach to model development, including well-designed experiments, definition of suitable training and validation datasets, and evaluation based on appropriate metrics.
Hands-on familiarity with cloud data ingestion pipelines.
