About This Opportunity

We're leveraging MLOps to transform machine learning models from isolated, engineer-specific tools into robust, cloud-native services that are scalable and consistently available. As a Software Engineer on the H2O.ai MLOps team, you will be a pivotal contributor to our mission of productionizing and democratizing ML models. We are looking for individuals with a strong foundation in software engineering, a passion for cutting-edge technologies, and a drive to push the boundaries of MLOps.

What We Are Looking For

This role is open to North America only at this time.

Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
2+ years’ industry experience as a software development engineer in Java and Python, with a deep understanding of its ecosystem, best practices, and design patterns
At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Kubernetes
At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong OOD skill for large scale software development project
Knowledge of relational database design
Comfortable following software engineering best practices such as code review, source control, continuous integration, and testing
Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy (self-motivated, organized) and the ability to work remotely across time zones
Strong customer focus

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with Scala and Akka
Experience with Go and gRPC
Familiarity with concepts of concurrent programming
Experience with mainstream machine learning frameworks such as sklearn, pytorch and data science libraries like numpy and pandas
