Position Summary

Work on a next-generation product that will change how people process their data. Leverage your ML skills and put them to good use to directly shape the future of the data engineering space & craft a brand new experience for our users. We want AI to become a development partner for anyone from business stakeholders wanting to learn how to code to engineers wishing to become more productive.

Own the development of the state-of-the-art ML infrastructure. Work with us on the product and technology roadmap. Evaluate the latest ML technologies and come up with proposals to evolve them.

The impact you will have

Design/Develop/Deliver

End-to-End Ownership. ML Engineers at Prophecy own, design, develop, and deliver end-to-end products for our next-generation ML-enabled product.

Overachiever

Requirements

7+ years of hands-on machine learning experience
4+ years of experience in building products using natural language processing or sequence modeling. Relevant examples:
- Developed code generation machine learning products (e.g. trained large language models similar to Codex) or worked on text-to-sql problems
- Built end-to-end semantic information extractions systems
- Developed and delivered question-answering models and products
- Built knowledge graphs or did data modeling using graph databases like Neo4j, Dgraph, Neptune, etc
Be end-product and design-conscious - you will be crafting a complete user experience (customer obsession)
Built architectures from concept to production for real-time ML-enabled products
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
Great problem-solving skills
Comfort in working in short, agile, iterative development cycles
Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
Strong desire to work in a not well-structured, fast-moving startup environment
B Tech or above degree in CS or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with OpenAI, GPT-3, Davinci, or done prompt engineering for those models
Experience working with big-data data processing engines, e.g. Spark
Experience with designing compilers for general-purpose programming languages like SQL, Python, or Scala
Postgraduate degree or PhDs in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, or other evidence of the ability to do independent, innovative research
Ability to assess new technologies and make pragmatic recommendations

The base pay for this position ranges from $ 250,000 to $ 300,000 per year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
